Despite the price increase that the transport passes of the Community of Madrid will suffer from July 1, just announced by the Regional Consortium of Transport, there are some age groups that will continue with very reduced prices.
The subsidy will go from 60% to 40% in adult passes, which will mean, for example, that the price of Zone A will go from a rate of 21.80 € to cost 32.70 €. The bonus in the case of the youth season ticket will continue to be half of its original price.
Price of the youth travel pass in Madrid after the fare increase
The youth travel pass (from 15 to 25 years old) will maintain the 50% discount, 10% less than the one applied since the beginning of the year. Therefore, the price of a 30-day ticket will go from €8 to €10. An acceptable difference compared to that which will be applied to adult season tickets and which will also be maintained for all zones.
While children under 15 and over 65 will remain free of charge.
