With the frenetic pace of the capital, it’s easy to overlook the treasures that its streets harbor. Luckily, Pasea Madrid returns in spring with the intention of analyzing in depth the historical heritage of the city; going beyond the surface to encourage the enjoyment of its best corners. And the best part: signing up for any of its guided tours is free.
Between March and May, Pasea Madrid will organize 422 tours with 17 different themes. At the moment, each route admits a maximum of 30 people, so it is important to make a reservation as soon as possible (waiting lists fill up!).
The first registrations can be made as of Tuesday, February 18. Over 65s will have places available from 10:00 am, and the general public, from 12:00 (link to book here).
Pasea Madrid will make routes in eight districts: Carabanchel, Ciudad Lineal, Barajas, Fuencarral-El Pardo, Latina, Usera, Villaverde and, of course, the Centro area that encompasses the Paisaje de la Luz ( the Jardines del Buen Retiro, the Palacio de Cibeles and the Paseo del Prado). As a novelty, it will incorporate two new routes: Goya and the Royal Academy and La Quinta de la Fuente del Berro.
