To the usual flow of travelers at the Adolfo Suárez-Madrid Barajas Airport must be added, since a few days ago, the presence of about 2,000 Playmobil figures. The reason for the appearance of these ‘clicks’ responds to a completely free exhibition that has been kindly placed in the exhibition hall of Terminal T2 (between the subway and terminals T1-T2-T3).
Behind the assembly is the Spanish Association of Playmobil Collectors (Aesclick), a non-profit group that organizes activities such as these exhibitions, as well as fairs, charity events and collaborations with hospitals to spread awareness of these endearing toys and “establish bonds of complicity” around them.
For this occasion, five models of six square meters each have been assembled, representing different scenes: “ships at sea, the Wild West, a medieval tournament, an urban environment and the age of dinosaurs,” explained Aena. In addition, to complete each one of them, the company has resorted to setting pieces such as animals, vegetation, objects, furniture or transports.
Timetable and dates of the Playmobil exhibition

The Playmobil exhibition at Barajas Airport can be visited until next Saturday, May 10, and the opening hours are uninterrupted.
This is not the first time that the Madrid airport hosts an exhibition of the hand of this association: the previous occasion was in October 2023 and even another was held at Christmas 2017.
Some secrets of Barajas Airport

Barajas Airport can seem like an overwhelming place for those unfamiliar with the surroundings, but there are different tricks that can help you get your bearings. One of them is to notice the color of the columns, which is directly related to the proximity to the different boarding gates.
There are also some issues that are not so well known to travelers, such as the fact that there is a viewpoint from which to contemplate the takeoff of planes or that there is a shuttle train that connects T4 with Terminal 4 Satellite.
