The Pokémon GO Festival dedicated to the characters of the saga, arrives in Madrid from June 14 to 16. This exclusive event is designed for pokémon fans and will be held in the Juan Carlos I park in Madrid and other parts of the city.
During the first half of the day, Pokémon trainers will enjoy playing the iconic Pokémon GO game in the park, while the second half will be dedicated to hunting and training Pokémon at different locations in Madrid as part of an exciting gymkhana.
Access to the game will only be available during designated hours (from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm for the park experience or from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm for the city experience) and will require a pre-festival ticket, which is worth 32€. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy special content and unique bonuses throughout the event.
Marshadow debuts in Pokémon GO
During the festival, Marshadow also known as Morasombra, will make his first appearance after his debut at GO Fest 2024 in Sendai, Japan. Trainers should follow the research story and explore the park for a chance to find and perhaps catch him. In addition, Klefki the Keychain Pokémon normally only seen in France, will be present, along with a Crabrawler and special versions of Eevee with sun and moon crowns. You will also find Rotom Calor during the event.
Exclusive Pokémon merchandising
During the festival, attendees will be able to purchase exclusive merchandise from the saga, such as the T-shirt available only at Pokémon GO 2024 Festival events. Pikachu and Eevee will also be present for photos, and trainers will have the opportunity to meet and compete with other well-known trainers.
This event is held in few cities around the world, and Madrid has been chosen by Niantic to host the first Pokémon GO Fest. Data from the Spanish Pokémon GO community supports this choice, with more than 7 billion Pokémon captured in Spain alone by 2023.
