It is said that January is the month of testing and February is when the changes we wished for on December 31 really materialize. The organizers of Rethink Vintage know this, and have announced that they will be returning very soon to the capital with their second-hand garments. Their event is presented as an ideal opportunity for those who want to renew the closet this year, without allocating too high a budget (that between Christmas and Valentine’s Day expenses, there is little left for our personal goals of 2025).
Rethink Vintage arrives in Madrid the weekend of February 8 and 9. On Saturday, the hours will be from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, and on Sunday, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. It will be installed at number 10 Aniceto Marinas street, four minutes away from Príncipe Pío station (lines 6 and 10).
What will we find at the flea market?
With more than 10,000 different garments and 100 categories of items, this temporary vintage flea market is the physical version of Vinted. A kilo of clothes costs 35 euros. There is no minimum purchase: if we only like a garment, we can buy it by weight regardless of its quality. Thus, a suede dress or skirt can go for less than 15 euros, as happened to this buyer.
How to get free tickets for Rethink Vintage?
You can get free tickets for the event (there are only tickets left for Sunday!) through the Eventbrite website. On the day of the flea market, it is important to arrive no later than twenty minutes after the time indicated on your reserved pass. If you are more than half an hour late, you will lose your ticket.
