The Palacio de Liria (Calle de la Princesa, 20), in the heart of Chamberí, is once again releasing free tickets this April 28 to visit one of the exhibitions that have generated the most expectation since its announcement: Flamboyant, by Lisbon-born Joana Vasconcelos.
This initiative is possible thanks to an agreement between the institution and the City Council of the capital. Thus, the exhibition will be free every non-festive Monday at 10 am until full capacity is reached, which is 40 people.
The free tickets will be used to visit the site on the Monday following their acquisition: that is, next Monday, May 5, 2025.
How to get free tickets to visit the Palacio de Liria?
The advance booking option for free tickets will be enabled on the website of the Palacio de Liria on April 28 at 12 noon. Once the quota is covered, the option will not be available again until the following Monday. And they tend to sell out quickly, so we advise you to be attentive to not run out of them.
In addition to free tickets, the Palacio de Liria has reduced rates applicable to groups that we detail in this other article.
Visit Madrid’s museums for free
The Palacio de Liria is by far not the only one in the capital that you can visit for free at some point during the week. Rephrasing a well-known phrase of Paquita Salas, if you are smart it is not that museums are going to give you money, but you are going to be able to visit them at zero cost. In this article we tell you when to visit them if you want to take advantage of these hours and pay nothing.
