In this infinite and unfathomable universe of things to do that is Madrid, it’s hard to find experiences and activities in the city for large, numerous groups. Not just activities that involve group dynamics, but spaces where the group or tour can enjoy the full comfort of the venue along with special group rates. We’ve selected the best ones.

Few things bring a group closer together than taking the same silly photo in a ball pit. At IKONO, just a stone’s throw from Atocha, that’s exactly what the experience is all about: exploring 12 immersive rooms where light, reflections, and play take center stage. There’s a bamboo forest lit by lanterns, a room filled with floating silver balloons, and another where you can paint with light. There’s also a mural by Ricardo Cavolo where C. Tangana, Rosalía, and Almodóvar share the wall.
The tour lasts about an hour and works just as well with friends, family, or coworkers. For large groups, IKONO offers special packages for team-building activities and private events, so it’s easy to organize something different to break the office routine. Tickets available here.

Relive a TV quiz show, but without a screen in the way. At this venue next to Las Ventas, teams (of 4 or more people) compete by answering general knowledge questions, recognizing songs in just a few seconds, or proving who knows the most about Madrid.
Its three rooms allow up to 54 people to play at once; the questions can be customized for birthdays or bachelor/bachelorette parties, and it features a bar area to extend the celebration.

Classic ballet as we’ve always known it, but in a new light… the world of Ballet of Lights has come to Madrid to stay. Under this umbrella, artistic performances are staged with one guiding principle: to bring classical dance to all audiences through moving and exciting shows filled with lights. Request a quote here.
BuzzAttack

BuzzAttack is the perfect group activity for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and celebrations with friends. The game is played in teams of up to 12 people per room, inside a game show set lit only by spotlights, with challenges testing ingenuity, memory, music, and speed. Are there more of you? No problem: the venue has up to 3 simultaneous rooms, ideal for large groups looking to compete, laugh, and celebrate together in a single outing.

The range of immersive experiences and exhibitions in Madrid is ever-changing, ongoing, and diverse. From “The Legend of the Titanic” and the new edition of “Abierto x Obras” at Matadero to the IKONO Madrid Museum or the permanent exhibition “Legends: The Home of Football,” there are options for all ages and tastes—and, in most cases, special group rates. Check out the complete list here.

Speed, laughter, and competition: challenging the group to a go-kart race is one of the top activities. Why? Because friendly rivalry is guaranteed—and so is a rematch. At these go-kart tracks (the best in Madrid), you can book time slots for your entire group of friends. There are indoor, outdoor, and even mixed-use tracks, and many of them feature special facilities for celebrations.
Paella classes (and much more) for large groups

It’s not impossible to find creative (and hands-on) activities for large groups. For example, at Cocinea, they offer a series of cooking classes tailored to large groups. Among their classes, the star is the paella-making class with master paella chef María Muñoz, who—in addition to sharing the ultimate recipe—will provide the right tips for making a true paella worthy of Valencia. Plus, they offer three cooking options: Valencian paella, seafood paella, or vegan paella. By the way, drinks are included, and you get an apron—for free!
On roller skates and letting loose: roller disco

Open Wednesday through Sunday until midnight, the large skating and dancing floor at Rolling Disco & Burger (at Chamartín Station) combines sports with dancing, fun, and great food. Specializing in birthday parties and all kinds of events, the goal here is to let loose on the rink and then relax at an American-style diner serving burgers, hot dogs, salads, desserts…
Reserve an entire movie theater

For the past few years, the independent movie theater Artistic Metropol has allowed the entire theater to be reserved for events, birthdays, presentations… The theater has a capacity of 65 people, and depending on the number of guests, the price per person ranges from 5 to 50 euros (if the entire theater is reserved for just ten people).
