At this point there are so many options to drink it that it is normal that when we look for one we find ourselves with some disappointment. Life is too short to have a bad time and, above all, to eat badly, so prepare your taste buds and write down our suggestions for brunch in Madrid.
1. Oryen Café

Oryen Café is a specialty coffee shop where brunch is a must. It is located in front of the Retiro and they make a traditional cuisine with natural products and artisanal elaborations. The chia bowl, porridge or granola bowl are the stars of the menu, although there are also classic pastries without sugar but with natural sweeteners such as tagatose.

2. Casa Suecia
Casa Suecia’s restaurant has its own bakery, so you can imagine how delicious and freshly made their pastries are. As if that wasn’t enough, they also make their own yogurt: could this be the most artisanal brunch in Madrid? Maybe. Go, order it and wash it down with a good cocktail, because a day is a day.

3. Irreverente
An outdoor brunch in one of the terraces with the best atmosphere in Madrid. In its rooftop and enlivened by music, they offer the best option to enjoy a complete selection of sweet and savory dishes along with their cocktails to extend the afternoon. And, why not, accompany it with another vermouth.

4. BiBo Madrid by Dani García
The great chef Dani García displays his love for travel in a 360º, innovative and creative brunch at BiBo Madrid, with proposals such as oxtail brioche, langoustines from Sánlucar and mortadella sandwich from Bologna. For dessert, a “nitro” ice cream. The space, illuminated with 7,000 light bulbs, recreates the atmosphere of the Malaga Fair.

5. Sana Locura
A brunch without a trace of gluten, that’s what it’s all about at Sana Locura. This pastry shop and cafeteria suitable for celiacs who want to enjoy pastries without any risk. 6. NuBel’s brunch
The brunch at NuBel is one of the most attractive brunches in Madrid also because of its location – it is located in the same building as the Reina Sofia Museum – because you can also add a cocktail. There is no other brunch in the city that offers what the Hard Rock Hotel Madrid offers. For starters, a restaurant that’s shaped like the inside of a Spanish guitar; to continue, a brunch that comes in a guitar case. 7. Nomade Café
Cynthia is a French nomad from a hotel family who runs Nomade Café, a worthy successor of the now defunct Infinito, where she serves a French-style brunch, hearty and homemade . The quality-price ratio shines with its own light through a delicious toast with poached egg, avocado and halloumi cheese. The feast is completed with coffee, juice, granola and a Bordeaux cannelé (halfway between flan and torrija) that can be replaced by banana bread or other biscuits.

Carmencita Brunch is a meeting point for hipsters, foodies and lovers of eggs benedict (theirs are some of the best we’ve tried). Their brunch has several options to choose from, although there is also a closed “menu” perfect for those who prefer not to make decisions.

Bendita Locura is a cozy environment that inspires the mind and the stomach. Here the variety is almost overwhelming, but any choice will be a wise one. You choose how much you want to eat, because there is a light and a more powerful version of brunch (which, by the way, can be enjoyed any day of the week).

There is a brunch with a panoramic view of the Casa de Campo, the Royal Palace and the Temple of Debod…. And this is it! All you need to do is go up to the 26th floor of the luxurious RIU Hotel, walk through the doors of the gastronomic space Edén Gastrobar and taste -with a welcome mimosa in hand- a selection of sweet and savory dishes and an exquisite main course.

16. Watts Cantina

Pancakes, specialty coffee and wine. At Watts there is no specific menu for brunch, but on Saturday and Sunday mornings the line at the door warns you that this is one of the best places to have a late breakfast in Madrid. There are also sandwiches with sourdough bread, tacos and burritos, but it is the more American version of pancakes -with butter, bacon or eggs- that have led them to success.
