One of the things that define the essence of football is its nature as a team sport. Of something that is made – is built- of something that is made collectively the collective is played as a group, and the collective is also lived. So it’s not surprising that with important dates on the calendar, such as Euro 2024 – which kicks off this Friday, June 14 – fans want to experience the games in the same way. And in Madrid, one of the options is to do it on a giant screen with 1,500 spectators.
The Palacio de Hielo shopping center (Calle Silvano, 77) is the space where this giant screen of 350 square meters will be located. The meeting point will be its ice rink, where thousands of spectators can congregate to watch UEFA EURO 2024 on what is said to be the largest screen in the capital to watch the championship.
The ticket is free until full capacity is reached and 45 of the 51 matches of the tournament will be screened: among them the opening match (Germany-Scotland), all those in which the Spanish national team plays and the grand final, which will take place on July 14.
