Although the little ones are welcome in almost any space in the city, it is true that some restaurants are better prepared than others to go with children. Whether it’s because of a particularly attractive theme, the type of food or a large outdoor space where the little ones can play.
1. Comic Planet
Marvel and DC superheroes have a space especially dedicated to them in this 600 m², three-story restaurant. Comic Planet is a favorite place to celebrate birthdays and special events for children (and adults) who are fans of comic book stories. The dishes are classics of American cuisine, but they claim it is not fast food because everything is made from scratch here. They also design and prepare custom birthday cakes.

2. Wonderland
This restaurant is like falling down the Alice in Wonderland hole, except here instead of cakes they serve Asian food. If going to a free buffet of rotating food is already an adventure in which you try to get the dish you want before your table passes, in this one the floor and ceiling are confused and the doors are locks. Undoubtedly an experience for the little ones to live in first person this classic by Lewis Carroll.

3. Running Sushi
The Running Sushi have become fashionable and each one has a theme that surrounds the restaurant. It is impossible for children to get bored here, between trying to catch one of the dishes and the robot waiters who bring the drink, everything is a stimulus.
They now have three locations: Running Sushi in Market, a place set in the streets of Tokyo and the Tsujiki market; Running Sushi in Akihabara, decorated imitating this shopping area of Tokyo dedicated to technology; the original Running Sushi in Osaka and the last one, which is called Runni Space and is inspired by a spaceship.

4. Filandón
Filandón is a restaurant in the Pardo surroundings -good excuse to walk around and get to know the area- with a large semi-covered garden, which has a children’s area; a small wooden playground surrounded by greenery. Its menu revolves around the grill, so the star dishes of the menu go through the grills: octopus, prawns and chuletón, among others.

5. Casa Emiliana
Casa Emiliana is a classic rotisserie, of suckling pig and elbow chops, but with a children’s playground within its grounds that if it were public would enter the list of the best in Madrid. 6. Mamá Campo
Mamá Campo is in the heart of Chamberí, right in the Plaza de Olavide, so it is an ideal restaurant to eat something healthy and let the kids play in this car-free space. They define their cuisine as follows: “from the traditional to the healthy” and without a doubt, their dishes fulfill this statement, as is the case of the roasted leeks with cecina crumbs or a quinoa salad (with or without salmon). They also prepare caterings, in case you prefer to take the party home.

7. Villa Verbena
Spending the morning walking among oaks and rabbits in Casa de Campo and end up eating at Villa Verbena is an ideal family and Sunday plan. This restaurant has a 600 m² terrace. Here the dishes take various shapes, the cow is the most popular and also the flowers hanging from the ceiling and the chairs upholstered in prints and colors not at all sober catch the eye. When you enter Rosi La Loca, you have to open your mind and let yourself be surprised.
The menu? To match the decor, chef Javier Alfaro has designed a menu that includes dishes such as yellowfin tuna tataki or beef cheeksbaocata (larded cheeks, red mole, yogurt, mint and kimchee sauce).

9. Bendita Tierra
Bendita Tierra starts from the market concept to offer a quality product. It is a space surrounded by nature that offers an outdoor children’s area, with chickens, swings, motorcycles to run around, a soccer field and even an inflatable. Aesthetically the restaurant takes care of every detail and combines traditional elements with an exotic touch.
It is also an ideal place to celebrate events, with several reserved spaces, live music and an ideal atmosphere and food to enjoy. There is a special children’s menu for the little ones and offers closed menus for communions and birthdays.

10. Storyland
The latest opening of Ohana Group (Los Secretos de Lola, Santa La Vaca) is a restaurant to take niñxs and adults on a trip to the center of the movies that have marked their childhood with a decor inspired by classics like Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Lilo & Stitch and Peter Pan, among others. In addition, every day (except Saturdays) the princesses pay a visit to diners during the dinner shift.
As for the menu, the dishes are 100% homemade and focuses on Mediterranean cuisine that fuses with dishes from the other side of the Atlantic.
