Although the little ones are welcome in almost any space in the city, it is true that some restaurants are better prepared than others to go with children. Whether it’s a particularly attractive theme, the type of food or a large outdoor space where the little ones can play.
1. Comic Planet
Marvel and DC superheroes have a special space dedicated to them in this 600 m², three-story restaurant. Comic Planet is one of the favorite places to celebrate birthdays and special events for children (and adults) who are fans of comic book stories. The dishes are classic American fare, but they claim it’s not fast food because everything is made from scratch here. They also design and prepare personalized birthday cakes.

2. Wonderland
This restaurant is like falling down the Alice in Wonderland hole, except here instead of cakes they serve Asian food. If going to a free revolving buffet is already an adventure in which you have to try to get the dish you want before your table passes, in this one the floor and ceiling are confused and the doors are locks. Undoubtedly an experience for the little ones to live in first person this Lewis Carroll’s classic.

3. Running Sushi
Running Sushi’s have become trendy and each one has a theme that wraps around the restaurant. It’s impossible for the kids to get bored here, between trying to catch one of the dishes and the robot waiters bringing the drinks, everything is stimulating.
They now have three locations: Running Sushi in Market, a place set in the streets of Tokyo and the Tsujiki market; Running Sushi in Akihabara, decorated imitating this Tokyo shopping area dedicated to technology; the original Running Sushi in Osaka and the last one, which is called Runni Space and is inspired by a spaceship.

5. Emiliana House
Casa Emiliana is a classic rotisserie, with suckling pig and elbow chops, but with a children’s playground within its grounds that, if it were public, it would be in the list of the best in Madrid. They specialize in communions, but you don’t need a special event to visit their winter and summer terraces and eat the good food they serve.

6. Mama Campo
Mamá Campo is in the heart of Chamberí, right in the Plaza de Olavide, so it is an ideal restaurant to eat something healthy and let the kids play in this car-free space. They define their cuisine as follows: “from the traditional to the most healthy” and without a doubt their dishes comply with this statement, as is the case of roasted leeks with jerky crumbs or a quinoa salad (with or without salmon). They also prepare caterings, in case you prefer to take the party home.

7. Villa Verbena
Spending the morning walking among oaks and rabbits in Casa de Campo and ending up having lunch at Villa Verbena is an ideal family and Sunday plan. This restaurant has a 600 m² terrace. And although the feeling is that you are far away from Madrid, the truth is that you can see the España building from almost any of its tables. It’s like a getaway, but without taking the car.

8. Rosi The Mad
Rosi La Loca is another restaurant where the over-the-top decor makes tablets unnecessary to entertain the little ones. Here the plates take on various shapes, the cow is the most popular, and the flowers hanging from the ceiling and the chairs upholstered in prints and colors are eye-catching. When you enter Rosi La Loca, you have to open your mind and let yourself be surprised
