In this infinite and unfathomable universe of plans that is Madrid, it is complicated to find experiences and activities for large groups, numerous, in the city. Not only activities that propose group dynamics, but also spaces in which the group or the excursion can enjoy with all the comfort of the space and with special group prices. We have selected the best ones.
1. The FRIENDS™ Experience: The One in Madrid
FRIENDS™ is more, much more, than a TV series. It has established itself as a cultural reference not only in television formats but also in our collective imagination. Today, the most iconic humorous moments of the episodes that survive today in the form of viral reel, meme or Whatsapp sticker are still in force. And all this relevance in popular culture now comes in the form of an immersive exhibition in Madrid.
The FRIENDS™ Experience: The One in Madrid (so called, making clear reference to the nomenclature of the episodes of the series), brings together in IFEMA the mythical scenarios of the show (the Central Perk, Monica’s apartment, Chandler and Joey’s…) as well as props and costume reproductions.
Tickets: Groups of more than 10 people, reduced single ticket for 11,20€.
📍 Location: IFEMA Madrid. Pavilion 14.1. Avenida Partenón, 5. (Barajas)
2. Enlightenment: the Vivaldi-inspired immersive experience.
How do you imagine Vivaldi’s Spring when you listen to this iconic concert? And Winter? Enlightenment is an art installation, created by the art collective Projektil, which tries to put the images evoked by active listening to Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons into images, into color, into shapes. It does so supported by the latest technology in video mapping projection, which invades every nook and cranny of the church of the German-speaking Evangelical Community.

3. The best karting circuits
Speed, laughter and competition: challenging the group with a kart race is one of the star activities. Why? Because the pique is assured and the revenge, too. In these karting circuits (the best ones in Madrid) you can book slots with your whole group of friends. There are indoor, outdoor or even mixed tracks and many of them have special facilities for celebrations.
4. Inexorable: a mentalism show
Be warned: this is coffee for coffee drinkers. Here, one comes with the intention of Fox Mulder himself: “I want to believe”. Inexorable is an experience of mentalism, hypnosis and magic. Daniel Collado (World Magic Award) leads this activity designed for groups of 30 people to ensure the closeness and proximity of shock.
Admission per person: from 38€.
📍 Location: Embajadores street, 35 (Arganzuela)
5. Paella courses (and much more) for large groups.
It is not impossible to find creative (and creative) activities for large groups. For example, at Cocinea, they propose a series of cooking courses adapted to large groups. Among their courses, the star is the preparation of paella with the master paella maker María Muñoz, who in addition to offering the definitive recipe, will give the right tips to get a real paella rice worthy of Valencia. In addition, they propose three cooking modalities: Valencian paella, seafood paella or vegan paella. By the way, drinks are included and the apron is a gift!
📍 Location: calle del Plomo 10 (Arganzuela)
6. On roller skates and crazy: roller disco
Open from Wednesday to Sunday and until midnight, Rolling Disco & Burger‘s big rink for skating and dancing (in Chamartín station), mixes sport with dance, fun and gastronomy. Specialized in celebrating birthdays and all kinds of events, the goal here is to let yourself go rolling around the rink and then relax in an American-style diner with burgers, hot dogs, salads, desserts…
📍 Location: Calle Agustín de Foxá nº 40 (Chamartín)
7. Las Barcas del Retiro
It is a basic classic of the city and, therefore, no less important. In addition to the fact that strolling through the Retiro is an activity that does not understand capacity, the boats are a way to visit the mythical park of Madrid from another point of view: from the very interior of the Great Pond. In total, there are a hundred rowing boats (two of them accessible for people in wheelchairs).
📍 Location: Paseo de Colombia (Retiro) Admission per person: from €6
8. Book an entire cinema
For the last few years, the independent movie theater Artistic Metropol has been allowing full reservations for events, birthdays, presentations… The theater has a capacity of 65 people and, depending on the number of customers, the price per person will be between 5 and 50 euros (if the reservation of the entire room is only for ten people).
📍 Location: Calle de las Cigarreras, 6 (Embajadores)
9. Banksy Museum
What if we could enjoy Banksy’s art in one place? This artist is one of the greatest exponents of street art. His works have the characteristic of being scattered halfway around the world in public spaces, so they run the risk of being vandalized (also, removed and stolen). It is part of Banksy’s artistic process: the destruction of the work itself serves as a reflection on the use of art in different contexts and circumstances.
Banksy Museum is Madrid’s way of gathering all these works in one space: through 170 replicas, the details and characteristics of the artistic history of the anonymous protagonist are exposed chronologically and geographically.
