
The sunset concerts in the lavender fields of Brihuega (Guadalajara) are one of the most iconic plans of the summer. One more year, the Lavender Festival returns as one of the most anticipated musical events in mid-July and tickets are already on sale.
The big novelty this year is that the event, after 15 years, will move to the fields of La Batalla, with an area eight times larger than the previous one. You can check its exact location at this link.
The dates of the festival for this edition are July 11, 12, 18 and 19 and, in addition, from 14 to 17 it will also be open with DJ sessions, gastronomic offer and the best lilac sunset of the summer. Thus, it can be considered as a summer getaway, taking advantage of the spa hotels in the area.

The 2025 line-up is composed of the following artists:
- July 11. Los Secretos.
- July 12. Iván Ferreiro.
- July 18th. El Arrebato.
- July 19. Beret.

The lavender fields of La Alcarria
In addition to the festival, you can tour the area of La Alcarria, which takes for Madrid, Guadalajara and Cuenca. Although the best known town is undoubtedly Brihuega, in Guadalajara, where there are more than a thousand hectares of lavender and lavandin bloom once a year, creating a landscape that has been called the Spanish Provence.
The scent of lavender floods the fields, and the peculiar color of the flowers offers an unforgettable sight. The best time to visit them is the first half of July, although they can be enjoyed until the end of the month before the harvest. Guided tours are offered on weekends for 3 euros, and during the flowering season the Lavender Festival is held with concerts at sunset and related activities. In addition, the village is decorated with lavender motifs to complete the experience.
