The neighborhood of Pilar celebrates, one more year, its festivities this October in two ways: in addition to the official program of the district of Fuencarral-El Pardo, different groups and neighborhood associations of the neighborhood again propose a popular version of the festivities.
Grouped under the Plataforma por unas Fiestas Populares (Platform for Popular Festivities), these entities are once again organizing, in their own words, “festivities by and for the neighborhood”. In the program, which starts this Thursday, there are free activities, DJs and “more surprises.

Thursday, October 9th
- 20:00h – Bachata workshop (and then social dancing until the body holds out).

- 19:30h – Salsódromo.
- Music until closing: La Reina de los Lagartos (Teknhorterreo) and Sandwich No Mixto (flamenkito, perreo and raverío).
Saturday, October 11th
- 11:30-13:30h – Children’s games (Scout Hut).
- 12:30h – Workshop dabke (Palestinian dance).
- 14:00h – Lunch x Palestine (vegetable couscous).
- 16:00h – Mus tournament.
- 19:00h – Super quiz.
- Afterwards…
- Musicote until closing.

- Penkas Delux (like the disco in your town).
Sunday, October 12th
- 10:30h – Live radio with Onda Violeta.
- 12:30h – Vermouth session with Madrid Fuego Norte (punk DJ).
- 13:30h – Popular Paella (Caseta Scout, with vegan option).
- 14:30h – Migas populares ( with vegan option).
- 16:00h – Musical Bingo.
