Viva Suecia will give a surprise concert today, Thursday October 9th, in Madrid to celebrate the release of their new album Hecho en tiempos de paz. The event will take place at Calle de la Paz, number 11, next to the entrance of UMusic Hotel Madrid, from 18:00 to 18:45 hours, and is open to anyone who wants to come and listen to them.
This concert will be a prelude to the record signing that the band will do on Friday 10 at UMusic Shop (Carretas street, 10). There they will also present a special merchandising collection that includes T-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags and scarves, as well as the availability of the new album on vinyl and CD, so that fans can take home a unique souvenir of the release.
Viva Suecia has established itself as one of the most important Spanish indie bands. Their sold out concert in Madrid on October 31st at the Movistar Arena is proof of this, and this surprise event is the perfect opportunity for their fans who have not been able to get a ticket to see the band live.
Free Hispanic Heritage Concerts

Madrid is a continuous party these days. At the same time that this concert is being held in the area around Sol, the rest of the capital’s main squares will also be the stage for great artists until October 12, Columbus Day.
A few meters away, in the Plaza Mayor, on the same Thursday,Los Estanques and El Canijo de Jerez will also perform at 9:30 pm. Both artists, referents of Spanish pop and mestizaje , will offer a live open-air performance in the center, as part of the tour Estamos listos para pelear (We are ready to fight). Access will be free until full capacity is reached.
