Vallecas is about to start the Fiestas de Vallecas La Karmela -the popular, combative and self-managed version of the Fiestas del Carmen- and, among the programmed activities, there is a somewhat atypical performance in these latitudes: the castellers.
For the occasion , two groups of castellers have joined forces: the Colla Castellera de Madrid and the historic formation of Los Minyons de Terrassa. Founded in 1979, in its 45 years of history it has achieved important milestones with its castells or human towers, gathering up to 1,000 people for its castles.
The joint performance of both groups will take place this Saturday, July 13 at 7 pm at the Juan José García Espartero Park in Puente de Vallecas.
