Madrid’s seafood restaurants are supplied by the second largest fish market in the world (after Tokyo): Mercamadrid. Although this information is not well received in the coastal cities of the rest of Spain, the fish that comes to Madrid by the simple law of supply and demand is the best and most abundant. So it is not surprising that the fresh product served in the capital’s restaurants is among the best in the country.
